Another sketch for Urban Comedy Network, written & produced by me; I got the idea while trying to figure out how many different types of Rappers are in my ‘Heavy Rotation’. I actually came up with around 7, but logistically, I could of only filmed 4, and plus, I didn’t want to do all that editing. Maybe a part 2 will be on the horizon.

Filmed on a parking garage rooftop in downtown Toronto on a cold fall day – I remember my hands were freezing.

WARNING: This video contains high levels of bitchassness and pussification by some men that are apologizing for the actions of other men towards women.
This has to be either a very slick ploy for these loser men to try to score some women, or they are serious bitches. I still haven’t been able to watch the whole thing, after a few minutes, it just gets annoying.

This is an actual real music from the Blaxploitation film Shaft’s Big Score (released 1972), this is a song that accurately captures the mood of the ‘infamous’ times of the 1970’s as pimping, gangsterism, and being a ‘playboy’ was coveted and revered. Jumping forward to the current day, I don’t think much as changed – except where this song sounds a bit more eloquent, while the current music is very blunt & direct with their slackness & slackitude.
There are some real funny and classic lines from this song. I’m still trying to figure out who the composer is; as it wasn’t mentioned in the film credits.
This is a Hip-Hop Kinetic Typography Music Video I produced for some independent artists out of Toronto. I was inspired by the Cee-Lo Green video ‘F— You’ and other Kinetic typography videos. A funny story accompanies this video, or tragic, I was like 80% done with the video, but then my power went out; which corrupted the file, so I had to spend another 10-12 hours re-creating everything. That was a lesson in saving multiple drafts of all video projects – especially in the Wonderful, yet buggy, Adobe After Effects, lol.
And of course with anything that is abstract, comes politics – especially when dealing with different people (which now, I really understand why most artists want to work for themselves and not deal with bullshit from other clients, collectives, etc.) … but thats for another chapter in my book, I’ll just say that when sampling a population, make sure your sample is representative of the target audience of your works.

Naturally when you think of Bob Marley, not only do you think of the great timeless reggae music that preached positive vibes, but you also think of the great herbs; or whatever you call it – spliff, chalice, sensi, high grade. So naturally when you mix creative, ecstasy and drug laced graphic artists with the task of creating Bob Marley fan doodles, your going to get some really ‘groovy’ and funked out Bob Marley renditions.
Bob Marley is one of those transient artists that is adored by people of all musical preferences regardless if you’re a straight rocker, into country, or even a baby …. (see below)

This video has high levels of profanity, but equally, has high levels of humor. Essentially some Internet nerds with too much time on their hands have been prank calling a ‘Gangsta’, they recorded his voice over several occasions, and in this call, they prank call him with his own voice … the rest writes itself.
The funniest thing I have seen in awhile.
A rant by UFC announcer, ex-Fear Factor host, comedian Joe Rogan off of his podcast; an interesting take on life, religion, politics, and such. Don’t really get why they autotuned Joe Rogan’s voice, and added Daft Punk’s ‘Around the world’, but that mix, and the visuals makes for a good 5 minutes of engaging content.
The Israeli Defense Forces are seriously working on a robotic snake for tactical usage. The snake would be camouflaged to appear like a real snake and has the ability to deliver bombs, reconnaissance, and if the snake is destroyed, it has the ability to spawn into smaller snakes – which can then operate independently on its own. In the current stage, the snake is slow in movement, but within time, it will replicate the behavior of a real snake. I guess this is the future of battlefield tactics. I wonder what is next, a robotic bird? Oh, I think they already have that, maybe a field rat or something. SMH.
On a frigid Sunday in the City of Toronto, two lovebirds ventured around the downtown core, the harbourfront, Rogers Centre, Yonge-Dundas Square, in an attempt to film a successful viral-esque video to win a Radio contest on Toronto’s Z103.5FM. Besides that the production value of this response video to Lebron James new Nike Ads is very high; which suggests that a lot of people in Cleveland are passionate about this issue, this video hits LeBron hard on several points. They call him a traitor, quitter, and pretty much label him a bitch – the moral of the story is that the city of Cleveland is very passionate about their sports.
The Recession
In a city hit hard by the recession, it is not surprising that many people find solace and/or escapism from their everyday life through sports – and what makes this particular story very hard is that LeBron grew up in Cleveland; as oppose to most sports franchise players that come from another place. Thus, the people of Cleveland felt like Lebron is ‘one of their own’, and literally, he is.
On one hand you got to feel kind of bad for the city of Cleveland – as they treated LeBron like a lover, brother, family member that betrayed them, but on the other hand, it is just ‘sports’ and sports these days are a strategic game.
