I got the idea for this sketch after listening to some 90’s Hip-Hop, specifically listen to Busta Rhymes and his hype man ‘Spliff Star’. Then I just took that idea and wondered how living w/ a Hype Man (which is essentially a motivational accomplice) would be.
Thanks to Matt & Anthony Engelbrecht for being a part and doing some amazing improv (especially the bedroom scene).
Fun project to work on with the talented Nadine Marie from Toronto. Shot this over a few weeks in the summer time in Toronto, Guerilla style of course. Always fun to edit these types of videos because A) the music is good – and you start humming and singing it during the following weeks B) Very easy on the eyes 🙂
Video of Ilene Sova’s Exhibition “The Missing Women Project” at Creative Blueprint Gallery in March 2013. I did the videography & editing. The Missing Women Project is a socially important project as Ilene has created paintings of Missing Women from the OPP Missing Women Database. Each painting represents an unsolved case.
Please check out my Trailer for ‘5 Days of Therapy’. I thought it would be interesting to explore the therapeutic process from the Therapist’s point of view. Everyday they sit and listen to various problems & issues that gripe the mind & heart – this film explores what happens when a Therapist is unable to separate her work & personal life. Everyday she has a new patient, a new problem; which she tries to solve in her own personal life, and with her own personal relationships. It becomes increasingly apparent throughout the days that even though she is helping patients, she needs help herself.
This abstract trailer was shot to illustrate and showcase the direction of where the film will be heading, and the subsequent issues that will be explored.
I wrote the original screenplay, and shot the trailer in late 2012, and I am looking for funding avenues.

Video production by my Halfway There Productions company. This is a promo video for a fashion/music event occurring on April 28, 2013 @ Revival Lounge in Toronto. I played cameraman at the initial Mystic Effect Event in 2012.
This project was for a start-up fashion line called ‘Honey Matthews’, was a fun editing and post production job — mainly fun because the video was short, but still took some time to find the right look.
I also worked on some of the visual layout for the branding of some of the images on the blog.

Kim Kadarshian got flour bombed, now its time for dirtbag boyfriends to enjoy a similar fate – but with more flour!

Comedians Sylvana & Justin do battle once again as they stick up for their respective genders to discuss which sex has better skills behind the wheel. They both make convincing arguments, but I’m going to have to say that Men are the better drivers because we aren’t preoccupied with looking at OURSELVES in the rearview mirror.
Another comedy project from Urban Comedy Network in the POV series, go subscribe and share this video, support please if you get a laugh.
Another comedy video from my Urban Comedy Network Family featuring comedian Anthony Engelbrecht. This was an interesting shoot because we had a script that we had to modify on the fly, so most of the content was impromptu, and we met some interesting people showing us their variations of the Gangnam Style dance – which included booty smacking and all. I had fun editing this video, which is a rarity.
